1. Is Studiouxi available around South Africa?
Yes, Studiouxi services are available around South Africa, but photography services are only available at johannesburg at the moment
1. Why not simply hire a full-time designer?
Good question! For a start, the annual cost of a full-time senior designer now exceeds R600,000, plus benefits (and good luck finding one available). On top of that, you might not always have enough work to keep them busy all the time, so you'd end up paying for time you can't use.
With the monthly plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as often as necessary to make sure you only pay your designer when you have work available for them.
2. Is there a limit to the number of requests I can have?
Once you've subscribed, you can add as many design requests as you like to your queue, and they'll be delivered one by one.
3. How quickly will I receive my designs?
On average, most applications are completed in two days or in hours. However, more complex requests may take longer.
4. Who is studiouxi?
Studiouxi is a team of creatives based in johannesburg.
5. How does the pause function work?
We understand that you may not have enough design work to fill an entire month. Maybe you only have one or two design requests at the moment. This is where pausing your subscription comes in handy. Billing cycles are based on a 31-day period. Let's say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, then decide to pause your subscription.
This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you will have 10 days of service left to use at any time in the future. Please note that the maximum pause period is 2 months.
6. What programs do you design for?
Most applications are designed using photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, lightroom, visual studio code.
7. How can I request designs?
Studiouxi offers great flexibility in the way you request designs using Request Login. Some clients request designs directly via Trello, share Google docs or mockups, or even record a brief Loom video (for those who prefer not to write out their briefs). Basically, if it can be linked or shared in Trello, it's allowed.
8. What happens if I don't like the design?
No worries! We'll keep revising the design until you're 100% satisfied.
9. Is there any design work you don't cover?
Absolutely not. Studiouxi does not cover the following design work: 3D modeling, animated graphics (GIFS, etc.), document design (medical forms, etc.), complex packaging and extensive print design (magazines, books, etc.).
10. What happens if I only have one request?
No worries. You can pause your subscription once it's finished and come back when you need new designs. No need to leave the rest of your subscription unused.
11. Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?
Due to the high quality of the work, no refunds will be issued.
