IS IT THE GEAR OR YOU ?

Well we all have our downfall in photography thinking with more expensive gear you can do what other famous photographers do, ummh! that's not the case, with expensive gear you only get better quality, latest technology and other important features cause of course their important. but expensive gear doesn't come with talent, a talent is a skillset you build throughout your passion.

Take it from someone who started photography with a 5 megapixel Huawei phone, taking pictures of flowers in a garden, by that time i didn't even know anything about DSRL or Mirrorless cameras,
i outgrew my passion and took pictures of anything, Pats, Landscapes, Cities, Objects etc... while i was still using my phone, people got interested cause i was building a skill and a unique style in my photography, gear wasn't that important, your eyes and your mind are the most powerful tools you can use in photography so is photoshop and lightroom :), always practice even when not necessary cause you might come up with new ideas and different styles.

Don't look at pictures on instagram or magazines and feel like you're doing no good, try your best to imitate different photographers, you won't get the same results, but you'll learn something from that.

SIMPLE PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS

Learn how to Compose and Expose (e.g Shutter speed, f/stop and iso), choose your models wisely, practice editing (Retoching etc..) shoot more often, play around with different locations with Good lighting condition and always shoot Raw.

Notice how i didn't mention any gear, work with what you have even if you're broke don't let that define your skills and crush your passion. It's not your gear it's about you, upgrade your gear when necessary but invest more in your lenses and your craft. View my Portfolio.
